9.11 changed the face of the World. Governments all over the globe have reconsidered issues related to national security. In the USA, a media frenzy and several controversial laws such as the patriot act have created a climate of apprehension. Muslims living in America have been victimized and stereotyped. This photo-essay, shot whilst interning at Magnum Photos in the winter of 2006 tries to explore the atmosphere and socio-political climate in which American-Muslims live in.
